Odawara Castle was originally built in 1416.
Inside the castle is a museum with a lot of historical information and many exhibits.
Although this is one of the smaller castles it is worth a visit. There are many
different kinds of trees around the castle that blossom during different times of the year
that make this castle very beautiful. There is also a mini zoo and a small amusement park
for children inside the grounds of this castle.

During my visit the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. There are many places to sit and/or
have a pick-nick and with the cherry blossoms in bloom the grounds were ideal for families and couples.
Because of this many people were at the castle so I didn't get any good shots of the zoo or the children's amusement park.
